A Year Flew By In Moments

Here's what happened, in a nutshell:

I cured my fibromyalgia by going on the caveman diet. For more about the paleo lifestyle, see here: The Primal Blueprint 101

Then, shortly after doing the I Am The Warrior ritual, I found out that fracking was coming to my neck of the woods and became involved in the anti-fracking movement at Barton Moss.

For more on anti-fracking campaigns in the North West of England, see Frack Free Greater Manchester

After this, I had an operation and found out I had endometriosis. That was a bit rubbish. And as my fibromyalgia got better and better, the endometriosis got worse and worse. Anyway I'm doing ok now.

In the spring I bought Doris the love bus!

It took the whole of the summer to get her back on the road. But she's up and running now!

She's nice and tidy on the inside:

And although she didn't come with any cushions I have since acquired some that fit perfectly.

Of course I have lots of ideas for hipping Doris out, and this will be a long term project. I'll keep you updated.

In the meantime, I'm re-stocking my OKIFOLKI shop on Etsy, and available for commissions. I'm undergoing some treatment at the moment that seems to be going fairly well so far (fingers crossed!). Hopefully it'll keep me well enough to work over the next six months. Because I'm heartily sick and tired of being sick and tired!

  1. No doubt sometimes the year comes so amazingly for us that it blows so fast that I can't tell. I hope this coming year will be a great one for all of us!
